Our chapter’s annual meeting and dinner took place last Wednesday at the stately Calhoun Beach Club, with special guests The Most Reverend Archbishop Bernard Hebda and International Director Fr. Daniel Hennessy.
We discussed our recent restorations, future project plans, and a year-in-review of amazing (and exclusive) Patrons events, including our recent trip to the Vatican. We also enjoyed an incredible dinner and cocktails in an expansive dining environment with opulent decor.
We were very grateful to have the new International Director Fr. Daniel Hennessy join us from Rome for the event, and we were incredibly humbled to have honorary Patrons chair Archbishop Bernard Hebda, whose enthusiastic support and charisma will keep us inspired for even more impressive accomplishments over the course of the next year.
We are so very proud of our accomplishments as a group this year, and we thank our members with sincere gratitude for helping us restore and preserve history. We hope for your continued support and friendship over the next exciting year as part of the Patrons of the Arts in the Vatican Museums.
We also thank board member Patrick Murphy for coordinating the event, which was – as usual – a smashing success.
